Nick and I used to do this all the time back when we were kids and spent time at the beach every day. I can’t speak for him, but I grew to enjoy flipping rocks and hunting for crabs even more than I liked catching minnows with a butterfly net. That was previously my favorite beach activity. Strangely, I was never a huge fan of sandcastles.
