A DISCUSSION WITH ANNALISA ABOUT BASEBALL. Annalisa texted me the other night that she was enjoying a game and that “the very large pitcher is wearing laughably large clothing. It looks like he rolled out of bed and decided to play Major League Baseball in his pajamas!” It’s a good description of C C Sabathia.
I texted her that “The large man has a good shot at the Hall of Fame.”
I’m happy my reaction was so memorable! For the record, his baggy clothes surprised me but I didn’t disapprove. I like my own clothes generously sized for comfort. I also found it endearing that he went his own way and didn’t care about his uniform looking standard like his teammates’.
