DISCOVERING THE BEATLES. I posted here on Nick’s discovery of the Beatles at the age of eight. Nick knew immediately just as he knew with Radiohead. Mary Jane cherishes the memory because we all love to be there when our children are thrilled by the wonders of the world—the first sight of Venice, the first sight of snow falling, hearing the Beatles for the first time…..
I recall that music exposure for me happened accidentally. The only song I remember that Mom deliberately introduced me to was “Dock of the Bay” by Otis Redding.
Although I suppose singing me “Good Day, Sunshine” to wake me up should count for something.
