As a result of having my anecdote published in The Daily News, I received a phone call from the Geraldo Rivera Show, offering me a spot on his upcoming show, featuring roommate stories. They said they’d call me back to tell me when the limousine would come to pick me up! They never called. Turned out someone else beat them to a segment about roommates; so they cancelled theirs. And left me out in the cold, deprived of my 15 (or at least 5) minutes of TV airtime.”
