MARY JANE’S NEW DREAM. I don’t have interesting dreams. For better or worse, Mary Jane does. The other night, she was saying softly in her sleep: “That’s ridiculous. I won’t do it.” I decided to wake her up. She told me that in her dream, she was shouting: “That’s ridiculous! I won’t do it!” She was in a restaurant and had ordered twelve shrimp. The waiter was insisting that in order to get the shrimp, she also had to buy four automobile tires.
