Dalai Llama and Mayor Bloomberg go to a hot dog stand in NYC. Mayor Bloomberg gets his usual. Vendor turns to Llama and asks what he wants on his veggie dog. Llama thinks about it and replies: “Make me one with everything”
What makes it remarkable is that somebody actually told a version of that joke to the Dalai Lama. Here is the YouTube video (link from Reed (June 26 at 11:40 am).
The video shows that it is hard to translate puns from one language to another—and that the Dalai Lama is a very nice man.
