TRYING TO SING—REMAINING A CROW.
TRYING TO SING—REMAINING A CROW. I sang happily to myself until first grade when I started having music classes. The children were divided into groups named after birds. I remember that there were bluebirds, robins, and crows, My brother Elmer and I and one other boy were crows. By the end of the year, the other boy had learned to carry a tune, and there were only two crows left.
