TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA—A TRIUMPH FOR SHAKESPEARE ON THE SOUND. In the event, the production of Two Gentlemen was (and is until the 29th) a triumph. The actors and the director demonstrated that it is a very good play. They found all sorts of good things that I had missed when I read the play and some commentary beforehand. Mary Jane and I had a very good time, and so did the audience. I like to look at the audience at a play or watching standup comedy. It was a full house, and the audience was reacting happily to everything that happened.
